Our Prayer Shawl Ministry is for anyone to join. Whether you area seasoned knitter or crocheter or even a beginner, we will show you how to create your own beautiful shawl. We meet the first and third Monday of the month from 1-3 p.m. in our church Fellowship Hall.
Since we began our group in October of 2018, we have created over 140+ shawls with a couple of our group members making between 2-6 every two weeks. Some are still working on their first one and and there is a variation of any number of completed shawls in between. We have passed out over 100+ shawls. These shawls can be collected and shared with anyone in our community or mailed off to family members and friends, all around the world. Many of our shawls have landed all over the USA.
Our group crafts our beautiful shawls with love and prayers. They are prayed over once completed, bundled, and ready for all peoples to share with loved ones or friends going through a rough patch in life. Our shawls are located in our first hall way of the educational wing and are available anytime for gifting out, see our church administrator, Renee, Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. during the week or stop by on any Sunday between 9 a.m. til 11:30 a.m. to collect the color and style of your choice.
